Cresselly hit for six and Dock impress

Current champions Neyland were not at their best but they still had enough in the tank to overcome Cresselly to stay unbeaten.
Pembroke Dock thrashed Cresselly in the second game. In the third and final game Haverfordwest had too much quality for battling Pembroke Dock, who put in their best display in the indoor league to date.
Match one: Neyland (90 for 3) beat Cresselly (89 for 5) Cresselly set a modest 89 for 5 total as Neyland had no trouble in chasing them down to keep their unbeaten record intact.
Tom Arthur was run out on 18 and he found good support from J. Oatley who was also run out for 18. The Hannon twins Sean and Patrick took a wicket apiece to keep Cresselly at bay.
In reply, Neyland got off to a solid start with reliable run gatherers Gregg Miller (17), Patrick Hannon (not out 25), Nick Koomen (17) and Andrew Miller (17), all reaching double figures as Cresselly’s Oatley took two wickets in vain.

Match two: Pembroke Dock (111 for 3) beat Cresselly (26 all out) Pembroke Dock reached over 100 runs for the first time as they crushed poor Cresselly who certainly didn’t put up much resistance with the bat.
Luke Murray scored an excellent 30 with the bat for the Dock, the youngster slamming four sixes and three fours in his innings, and he also snapped up three wickets in the bargain. Jack Davies also had a solid knock of 25 for the Dock. Cresselly showed little resistance with the bat with only Tom Arthur (13) scoring any runs of note as their innings totally collapsed.

Match three: Haverfordwest (110-4) beat Pembroke Dock (97-5) Pembroke Dock put in another battling display in the final game, but they came up short in their reply against vastly experienced Haverfordwest.
The Dock reached 97 for the loss of five wickets and The Town fought back to victory with Danny Potter (27), Simon Holliday (26 not out) scoring valuable runs, also Chris Phillips (21) added timely runs with the bat and he took a splendid catch off the wall to dismiss Nick Davies with his first delivery, and bowled an impressive wicket maiden.
Another star performer was the Dock’s Luke Murray who hit three sixes and four fours in a splendid knock of 49 before he was run out. In form Murray also took the wicket of Josh Hicks.
